Edutek was established in 1988 by Peter Vanderhooft. Since its inception, Edutek's core values have been to provide quality products at a competitive price, and to serve the underserved. In the early years, Edutek's main furniture lines were focused on desks and chairs. Since that time, with a network of quality manufacturers, Edutek has expanded to a wide variety of products to meet the ever-changing needs of educational, healthcare, restaurant, library and commercial spaces. The professional staff at Edutek has grown from a humble beginning in 1988 to a full-service team providing quality products and services throughout Utah and Idaho.

Peter Vanderhooft
CEO / CFO
Peter is the founder, CFO, and the man behind the curtain. An entrepreneur, adventurer, and a family man, Peter is the inspiration who moves things forward.

Todd Fairborn
President / Account Manager
Todd joined Edutek at its inception in 1988 and enjoys working in the education market. He is the heart and soul of a great company. While not at work, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, hiking in the mountains, and attending plays.

Larry Richardson
Operations / Account Manager
Larry has a BS in Public Relations and a lifetime of experience in project management. He enjoys finding & creating solutions but his real passion is helping others. Both of these play into his drive to help clients create and build quality environments.

Jan Weaver
Office Manager
Jan as been with Edutek since 2001 and has a background in law enforcement, HR, management, and payroll distribution. She uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others. Jan is inspired daily by her family and loves spending time with family and friends.

Aaron Fairbourn
Account Executive
Aaron has been part of the Edutek team for three years, bringing fresh energy and a forward-looking approach to technology. His background includes working closely with the CFO at Utah Valley University and supporting the UVU Foundation Board and Alumni Association. Outside of work, he enjoys tennis, cooking, and board games, and loves life with his wife and two daughters.
